Targeted File Review & Coding

Purpose:
Convert "possible" candidates into a confirmed working cohort by reviewing only files identified in Step 2.When this is appropriate:
Best suited to practices where Step 1 suggests coding and structured data usage have been reasonably consistent over time.

What is done:
• Review each file (Patient) on the Step 2 lists
• Confirm true eligibility for CDM / PP / OCF
• Apply programme-scope coding only (minimum needed for reliable programme delivery)
• Produce clean target cohorts for registration, recall and scheduling

Limitations:
• Any patient not detected in Step 2 will not be reviewed here
• This is a cost‑contained improvement, not a full database correction

Output:
• Confirmed programme cohorts
• Improved programme-relevant coding
